My name is Jason Mukasa. I’m a service designer with a background in design, business, and social innovation across five African and European countries.
Originally from Uganda, I moved to Barcelona to pursue a Master’s in Design and Innovation at IED Barcelona. I aimed to broaden my opportunities in innovation and deepen my understanding of how design can be used as a strategic tool for decision-making. I am dedicated to placing the customer and user at the heart of all initiatives.
Over the past three years, I have led startup design initiatives and provided strategic design consulting, consistently addressing business and social challenges. My experience spans various sectors, including creative business, travel, air quality data management, patient education, and urban planning. My approach centres on thorough research and collaboration to identify system gaps, understand individual needs, and leverage global innovation trends to develop services and growth strategies
